Fast Track to Success for jjFOX
Truro based jjFOX has been named by The Sunday Times as one of the fastest growing company’s in the UK, 7 December 2008.
Featuring as the fourth fastest growing business in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100, jjFOX has achieved more than 166 per cent growth per year from an annualised £478,000 in 2004 to £9 million in 2007.
Founded in Bristol with five employees in 2004, this recruitment consultancy now has over 100 employees across offices in Bristol, Manchester, Richmond, Newcastle, Bournemouth and Truro. Its recruits are placed in the IT, manufacturing, finance, education, construction and healthcare sectors.
“Our growth is entirely organic” explained Daniel Smith, director of the business. He continued “When we decided to set up jjFOX one of our founding principles was that we would train our own staff and promote from within and that is exactly what we have done – it’s what we believe to be the secret of our success.”
The directors, Rob Tillett, Adam Smith, Daniel Smith and Dominic Smith are now maintaining the momentum and have seen similar growth in 2008. They are also committed to setting up their charitable arm that will focus on project based work to help disadvantaged children both in the UK and overseas. Extra holiday will be granted to jjFOX staff to give them the opportunity to volunteer their time and energy to these projects, “it’s always been our intention to give something back, it may be a cliché but we are looking forward to it” explained Rob Tillett.
