A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, Robert qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989 and as a Financial Advisor ten years later.
After a period in practice in Truro, he moved to become a director of the UK’s largest accountancy training and consultancy company, with particular interests in taxation and financial services. He returned to the South West in 2002 to set up his own practice. This business merged with Bishop Fleming five years later.
Robert is particularly interested in integrated tax solutions, optimising direct and indirect taxation, and dealing with the interaction of corporate, capital and personal taxes, along with VAT and stamp duties.
