Testimonials

Tim was appointed as a Trustee and Treasurer of Age UK Exeter just over five years ago, after we undertook a search for a local accountant active in the charity sector.  Since his appointment, he has supported our finance staff to streamline our accounting processes to facilitate the production of accurate and reliable monthly management accounts such that we no longer have year-end audit adjustments.  He deals with a huge range of ad hoc queries covering accounting treatments, banking and finance, tax, VAT as well as longer term strategic planning.  His advice in respect of the presentation of accounts and other financial information to the outside world has been really helpful.  His knowledge of the regulatory regimes surrounding charities is very extensive and invaluable to us.  We have also benefitted from the specialist support that he has from within his own firm. Tim has an easy-going manner and the very valuable ability to communicate complicated financial information in a way than non-specialists can readily understand and act on. He is a huge asset to the charity.
