Variety, responsibility + support

Build your Audit career with interesting clients, collaborative teams and opportunities to make a genuine contribution.

You’ll work with organisations of different sizes and across a wide range of sectors. You’ll be encouraged to share your ideas, develop trusted client relationships and take on more responsibility as your experience grows.

Diverse clients + stimulating work

Our Audit teams work with clients including owner-managed businesses, schools and academies, charities, not-for-profit organisations and major commercial organisations.

That variety means every assignment brings something different. You’ll gain insight into how organisations operate, understand the challenges they face and help clients build confidence in their financial reporting.

You’ll often work directly with management teams and decision-makers, giving you opportunities to strengthen your commercial understanding as well as your technical expertise.

What working in Audit looks like

The size and structure of your team will depend on the client and the complexity of the assignment.

You could work in a small team on an owner-managed business before joining a larger group for a more complex organisation. You’ll collaborate with colleagues at different levels, learn from a range of specialists and build experience across different sectors.

Depending on your role, your work could include:

  • Planning and delivering audit assignments
  • Understanding clients’ systems, controls and risks
  • Reviewing financial information
  • Building relationships with client teams
  • Supporting and developing junior colleagues
  • Managing assignments and communicating with decision-makers
  • Identifying opportunities to add value beyond the audit

Whatever level you join us at, your contribution will be heard and respected.

Everyone shares the same common goal and is driven by a passion for progression. Bishop Fleming is not afraid to be different.
