Bishop Fleming to celebrate centenary year with a year-long campaign

Top 30 professional services firm Bishop Fleming is celebrating its centenary year in 2019 with the launch of a 12-month campaign bringing together firmwide, regional, sector, client and employee activities.

The firm, which delivers audit, accounting, tax, and advisory services to businesses and private wealth advice to individuals, was started in 1919 and has since gone from strength to strength.

Bishop Fleming is now the 29th largest firm in the UK by turnover and is ranked 26th in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For – the highest placed professional services firm in the South West.

The firm continues to innovate, with many leading-edge initiatives that benefit its clients and people, and in its latest independent survey the firm was awarded Gold status by Investor in Customers, giving the firm a lot to celebrate going into this milestone year.

Andrew Sandiford, Managing Partner at Bishop Fleming said:

At the heart of Bishop Fleming’s campaign will be the launch of many new major partnerships, projects, events and activities throughout 2019.

Ian Smith, Bishop Fleming’s Chair added: “We are committed to supporting the regions, communities and clients that sustain us. So, it is entirely fitting in our centenary year that our people have pledged to raise £100,000 for charities across the South West and into the Midlands”.

To kick off this fundraising target, on 17 March 2019 the firm will be title partner of the Bath Half Marathon – the largest fundraising event in the South West, and will be taking a team of over 100 runners to the event – a foretaste of the big activities the business is planning in 2019.
