West Midlands-based Bishop Fleming has been ranked ninth in the Top 75 Best Companies to Work For in the Midlands.
The firm, which delivers accounting, tax, corporate restructuring and advisory services has been recognised by an independent Best Companies study as a business that is leading the field in creating an engaging and exciting workplace.
The Best Companies accreditation is based on employee feedback and acknowledges those employers that invest in effective employee development and engagement.
Chris Walklett, Partner at Bishop Fleming, commented: “This listing is terrific news for the firm and reflects the hard work we put in to make sure that our organisation is a great place to work. We have ambitious plans for growth in the West Midlands, and developing a happy, motivated and engaged team is key to those plans.”
The listing comes on top of Bishop Fleming being awarded Gold status in 2018 by the independent customer services agency, Investor in Customers, for its “exceptional” service to clients, and being listed 24th in the South West Best Companies index.
The firm is also celebrating its centenary and the fact that it has been in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For index for the past four years.
Chair of Bishop Fleming, Ian Smith, added: “We have a positive team culture here in Worcester that is focussed on the development of our people. Our working environment ensures that every person has the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential. We invest heavily in our people’s personal development as we feel that this is the right way to give our clients the best team for their business.”
Twice listed as Britain’s fastest growing accountancy firm, Bishop Fleming is currently ranked in the top 30 in the UK’s national league table of accountancy firms.
