Primrose Hospice to benefit from Bishop Fleming quiz night

10th July 2019

Bishop Fleming Charted Accountants are to hold a charity quiz night for client Primrose Hospice as their business partnership continues.

The Worcester based firm is set to hold the event on September 24 which will see businesses from across the region attend in bid to raise vital funds for the local charity.

The quiz will take place at Worcestershire County Cricket Club where quiz goers are able to enjoy the evening which will bring a Centenary themed quiz with different rounds from the decades.

Primrose Hospice currently needs to raise £1.7m annually to continue to offer care and advice to patients living with life-limiting illnesses and supporting their families in the north east Worcestershire area.

The accountants chose to raise money for their client as part of their centenary year, where they have pledged to raise £100,000 for charity.

Andy Wood, Audit Partner at Bishop Fleming, said: “We are delighted to help such a fantastic cause, the Primrose Hospice performs excellent work in North Worcestershire and relies on the continued financial support of the local community.”

David Burrell, CEO of Primrose Hospice, said: “We love a quiz night at Primrose Hospice but even more so when they’re in aid of our charity.

“I’d like to thank Bishop Fleming for organising and hope that as many people as possible can take part and enter a team.

“It promises to not only be a really fun evening but also raise vital funds for Primrose which means we can keep our services free.

“To keep offering our services free at a time when people need us the most, our charity must raise over £1.7million annually.”

To celebrate the 100-year partnership between Bishop Fleming and Worcestershire County Cricket Club, the cricket club are running a competition for a team to win tickets to a Sunday T20 match in August, if their quiz team is booked by the end of July.
