Bishop Fleming has announced the expansion of its Bristol office at 10 Templeback, marking another significant milestone in the firm’s ambitious Better Growth strategy.
Bishop Fleming relocated its Bristol office to 10 Temple Back in 2020 and has already outgrown the space to become the firm’s largest office across its nine-office footprint, which extends from Birmingham to Truro.
The expansion sees the firm taking an additional 6,000 square feet of an adjacent floor of the landmark waterfront building, extending its combined lease for ten years. With nearly 20,000 square feet occupied, Bishop Fleming cements its position as Bristol’s largest regional accountancy firm by a significant distance.
Bishop Fleming has seen double-digit growth over the last eight years, including an impressive 20% year-on-year growth in its Audit service line. The firm is on track to exceed fees of £50m in 2025. The firm continues to invest in its future, appointing three new Partners so far this year to strengthen its leadership and support its growing client base.
With ambitions to significantly increase headcount over the next few years, Bishop Fleming will welcome a further 70 apprentices in 2025 through its Apprentice programme, accredited as Outstanding by Ofsted. The office expansion supports the firm’s planned headcount growth in the Bristol office, where it now employs 230 people, creating the capacity to expand well beyond 300 employees over the next few years.
Bishop Fleming currently audits more Owner-Managed Businesses than any other regional firm in the South West, and the new space will ensure it strengthens its capabilities and client offering to continue as the leading auditor and advisor to mid-market businesses in the region.
Andrew Sandiford, Managing Partner at Bishop Fleming, commented:
“Our investment in our Bristol office is a clear statement of our intent in the regional market and a major step in our Better Growth strategy. We are significantly ahead of other regional firms in scale, capability, and momentum, and this investment ensures that we stay that way. As our largest office, Bristol is central to our ambitious growth plans across the region. Our continued provision of a modern, dynamic, and collaborative environment for our people enables us to deliver exceptional service to our clients and communities.”

Specialist workplace designers, Interaction, who also recently supported Bishop Fleming’s recent Exeter office relocation, have helped to fit out the additional space at 10 Temple Back. The Grade A office, which has an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating and many other green credentials, is designed with a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing, collaboration, and sustainability.

Dieter Wood, CEO at Interaction said:
“We’re proud to continue our partnership with Bishop Fleming by delivering a flexible, future-ready workspace at 10 Temple Back. Our shared vision was to create an environment that inspires collaboration and growth while supporting the firm’s sustainability goals. We’re thrilled to see the space come to life for their expanding team.”
Simon Morrison, Partner and Bristol Office Co-Lead, added:
“Bristol is a critical hub for Bishop Fleming, and our office growth is a clear statement of intent to the market. This additional space ensures we have the right environment to attract and retain the best talent, continue to grow our services, and deepen our contribution to the regional business community. It’s an exciting time for our firm, people and clients.”
Chris Meredith at Savills and Ed Langford at Knights plc provided property and legal advisory support for the project, respectively.
