We sit down with the award-winning chef Mitch Tonks of Rockfish, The Seahorse and Chips in Dartmouth, for our latest in our 'Conversations with...' series.

Mitch has has become one of the most respected and knowledgeable seafood people in the country and an acclaimed restaurateur, chef and author in the process. He has written 5 cook books and on TV he’s known for his ten-part fishing series with Matt Dawson and appearances on Saturday Kitchen and Market Kitchen.

Mitch has won awards for his work, which has included;

  • Best Community Contribution & Best Multiple award
  • World Gourmand Award for Best Fish Book
  • Best Seafood Restaurant – Good Food Guide

His Rockfish restaurants are located by the sea and waterside and specialise in serving fresh local & sustainable seafood. Mitch's restaurants have grown rapidly, always maintaining their values of local, sustainable and gluten free produce.
