What sets Chris apart?

Chris is an experienced auditor and advisor with particular expertise in the Education and the Charity sector. He fosters strong relationships with his clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality compliance and timely, value-added advice.

Chris represents Bishop Fleming’s sector-leading academy team on a number of Department for Education committees and technical working groups, as well as providing ad-hoc consultancy that helps shape the direction of financial reporting and regulatory compliance in the sector. Alongside compliance, Chris' work with academies includes delivering client webinars and training as well as tailored strategic support to individual clients.

Chris heads the local office charity and not for profit team which includes 5 managers and around 25 specialist staff in an overall audit team of 120 in Bristol and Bath. He can also call on a wider service team of around 100 not for profit specialists across our offices. Chris works with a wide range of charity and not for profit organisations and is familiar with the many challenges that transcend the sector. His experience in the sector allows him to provide practical advice and support to his clients.

Chris is also responsible for internal technical training and development of specialist staff working across our not for profit and education clients.

  • Working with specialists across the firm to provide proactive, all-round advice on the issues of the day
