What sets Jonathan apart?

Jonathan leads the Restructuring team. He is a Chartered Accountant and an appointment-taking Insolvency Practitioner dealing with solvent and insolvent companies, providing restructuring, recovery and insolvency advice to creditors, directors and shareholders. He is also a holder of the ICAEW Diploma in Corporate Finance.

He led Bishop Fleming’s Corporate Finance team for several years, providing lead advisory and transaction support advice to a wide variety of clients, prior to moving across into Business Recovery in 2012. From 1992 to 1999 he was Group Financial Controller of a public company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

He is on the Management Board of Bishop Fleming and has a very wide and deep commercial experience as an adviser to both solvent and insolvent companies.
He is a member of the Regulatory Board of the  Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, which is responsible for the regulatory and disciplinary functions of the ICAEW, and is the Honorary Treasurer of the Bristol Benevolent Institution, an endowed charity helping the elderly of Bristol and its environs.

Jonathan's sector expertise

  • Honorary Treasurer of the Bristol Benevolent Institution, an endowed charity with £15m of assets under management, which has assisted the elderly of Bristol and its environs since the 1860’s. Income of £550k per annum is distributed by way of recurring and one-off grants to individuals and community groups
