What sets Laura apart?

Laura is a chartered accountant and has considerable experience with working with businesses of all sizes and covers; ranging from small sole traders to large incorporated entities but now specialises in entities under the audit threshold (turnover of £10.2m), particularly owner managed businesses. 

Laura has worked in the audit and assurance department and Compliance department before moving to Corporate and Business Services and has, therefore, built up some key skills and knowledge that are beneficial to her current role. 

Laura has a passion and enthusiasm for advising clients, seeking to gain a deep and real understanding of their business and aims, so as to support them effectively and provide accurate and timely support and advice. In dealing with clients on a regular basis Laura believes that she is well placed to spot planning opportunities and business issues in their early stages and be a trusted adviser to her clients. 

Laura sits on the board of the Exeter Chamber of Commerce, as treasurer, using her financial skills whilst developing networking connections and supporting and lobbying for local businesses in Exeter. 

She is also a school governor for St Thomas Primary School in Exeter; assisting the other governors with financial matters.
