What sets Peter apart?

Pete is a chartered accountant and qualified charity advisor, holding the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting.

He Manages a mixed portfolio of Charities, Education and Commercial clients, ranging from Land management charities, Hospices and healthcare charities to residential property developers, hotels and care homes. Pete has a breadth of experience which he uses to add value to his clients.

Pete is a member of our specialist charity team and regularly presents at our Charity and Academy school seminars, having recently presented at our 2018 charity conferences on current financial reporting issues and governance within the sector.

He regularly writes blogs to help keep clients up to date on sector issues, including changes to regulations and charity and company law.

  • Experience in delivering robust and compliant audit and assurance to a mixed portfolio of corporate, charity, not-for-profit and educational clients, in a collaborative and approachable manner

  • Experience of grant auditing for both UK Government and from European governments and the EU, particularly for hi-technology and research clients

  • Providing training to new trustees to ensure that they understand their role and responsibilities, therefore enhancing the governance environment

  • Auditing and advising academies, in particular assisting with governance, budgeting, systems reviews and board reporting

  • Experience in auditing hotel groups and tour operators, including ATOL reporting
