He likes to build long-term relationships with his clients helping to align tax advice with commercial and personal objectives.  Jon is well known for providing clear and succinct practical advice to his clients in order to help them optimise their overall tax position.

He has worked with a wide range of types and sizes of business at different stages of their lifecycle and is able to use his experiences to help clients achieve their commercial objectives in a tax efficient manner.

Jon is passionate about charities and not for profit organisations and is the firm’s lead on direct tax matters for the sector.  He has worked with a wide range of charities, not for profit organisations and social enterprises helping them to minimise their tax exposure and maximise their social benefit.

His commitment to the not for profit sector extends to volunteering; he is currently Chairman of Devon Cricket Board Limited, which leads on the development of grassroots cricket in the county.
