1% for Communities is part of our commitment to responsible business, a pledge to give back the equivalent of 1% of annual turnover through impactful volunteering and fundraising activities.
This initiative aims to support our communities, foster employee engagement, and contribute to meaningful causes, while underpinning our ambition to be the most rewarding accountancy firm in the UK for our clients, people, and communities.
Volunteering is a powerful way for our people to make a meaningful impact on our communities while fostering a strong sense of teamwork and enhanced well-being. We are proud to offer each employee one day per year to participate in volunteer activities that support our office charities or other local community initiatives. The positive impact of giving back resonates within our organisation, creating a more motivated and cohesive team, and making a valuable contribution to the communities that we operate in.
Our offices have selected six new partner charities and plan to raise £75,000 through joint fundraising activities over our current financial year. The funds raised will directly support the efforts of these charities to continue their work.
