Bishop Fleming celebrates ranking index success

We are delighted to announce that Bishop Fleming has been placed fifth in the UK in the Mid-Tier Power Index 2022 (MTPI) from Accountancy Age - the publication for accountants working in practice in the UK. 

The inaugural MTPI ranking seeks to reward and recognise mid-tier firms in the UK that champion true accountancy excellence, with organisations being judged on four key categories: Strategic Planning, Profitability/Growth, Professional Excellence, People & Community.

Speaking of the ranking, Paul Seymour, Bishop Fleming’s Marketing Director said:

Not only have we performed strongly in 2021-2022, but this ranking also recognises the significant stride forward we have made across our business, including people growth and development, and our approach as a responsible business.”

The new ranking is designed to place the spotlight on the UK accountancy industry’s mid-tier and was open to submissions from firms ranging in size from £3m to £700m in revenue. In placing fifth,

We are the highest ranked firm in the South-West and second highest in the West Midlands.

News of the ranking comes on the back of a string of successes for us, including being ranked 14th in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers List for 2022 and being awarded the Investing in People Award at the 2022 Accounting Excellence awards.
