Charity quiz raises £2,000 for Primrose Hospice

Chartered accountancy firm, Bishop Fleming have raised a significant amount for Primrose Hospice as several businesses from across Worcestershire joined them for their annual quiz.

The quiz night was attended by over 120 professionals from 30 local businesses on September 24 in bid to raise vital funds for the local charity.

The event held at Worcestershire Cricket Club raised over £2,000 and saw quiz goers enjoy a centenary themed quiz with different round from the decades.

Primrose Hospice currently needs to raise £1.7m annually to continue to offer care and advice to patients living with life-limiting illnesses and supporting their families in the North East Worcestershire area.

The accountants chose to raise money for their client as part of their centenary year and part of their pledge to raise £100,000 for charity to mark their historic milestone.

“We hope everyone had a fun evening and enjoyed the chance to test their general knowledge.

“The company and its staff have given Primrose so much support over the year and we are really grateful to them.

“The money they have raised will mean we can continue to support people with life-limiting conditions, their families as well as those adults and children have experienced a bereavement.”
