What sets Joe apart?

Joe is the Head of Audit and Assurance for Bishop Fleming and so is responsible for the compliance of our own audit function which includes 15 of our partners. He sits on our Management Board and is involved in our own strategy which adds to the empathy that he has with his clients.

Joe has a wealth of experience having advised a wide range of owner managed businesses and charity and education clients for over 25 years. He has a varied portfolio which covers a number of high profile organisations, often with complex issues that require proactive advice.

He spends most of his time with organisation leaders, understanding issues, sharing best practice and providing value strategic advice. He is both professional and approachable, always keen to find practical solutions for any client problem.

Joe’s client base allows him the opportunity to be well recognised across 3 specialist sectors. Most of his clients are people based, so he regularly presents at seminars and conferences, and also organises confidential networking opportunities. He meets with government ministers, funding agency directors, regional schools commissioners and local government representatives throughout the year.

He also is heavily involved with the not for profit sector on a voluntary basis, being a trustee, a co-opted governor, a Treasurer and advising a social enterprise panel.
