Bishop Fleming announced as Title Partner of The Great West Run

5th April 2024

Bishop Fleming is proud to announce a three year title partnership with Devon’s biggest run – the Great West Run.

The Bishop Fleming Great West Run will take place on Sunday 26 May 2024, offering runners the opportunity to take part in its famous half marathon event, the popular 10km or the fun and accessible Moki Community Mile event, open to all ages and abilities of runner.

The main half marathon event takes participants through the centre of Exeter city on closed roads, along beautiful country lanes with glorious countryside views across Exeter, before finishing in the iconic Exeter Arena Athletics Stadium.

Entries are currently open for all three events this May, with over 3,500 people expected to take part across the weekend. Paul Seymour, Chief Marketing Officer at Bishop Fleming, comments:

“As one of the leading professional service firms in the South West, we are thrilled to announce our three year title sponsorship of the Great West Run as a demonstration of our commitment in Devon. Following our success at previous running events, it is our intention to have a sizeable TEAM BF presence in the race. We are already on track to raise £50,000 for our regional charities this year and this event will give us a major platform to significantly raise more valuable funds. The Bishop Fleming Great West Run promises to be a fantastic, rewarding event for our people, our clients and our communities and we are very much looking forward to the race in May.”

Head of Events for organisers WMP, Rupert Martin, also commented:

“We’re delighted to have Bishop Fleming as our title partner for the next three years. This partnership will not only help us to develop and enhance the experience for participants and spectators, but also support us in our mission to get more people out running and raising money for local causes.

We believe that running can help people in so many ways; improving both physical and mental health, bringing communities together and helping raise crucial funds for brilliant charities.”

Bishop Fleming is welcoming its clients to join TEAM BF on the start line – interested runners should contact Paige Pinder at events@bishopfleming.co.uk to find out more.
