Bishop Fleming reports strong progress in its Responsible Business journey

Bishop Fleming is celebrating its progress on the Business in the Community (BITC) Tracker as it seeks to build on its record-breaking performance through its Better Growth initiative.

The achievement signifies a significant step towards a more sustainable and responsible business approach, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The BITC Responsible Business Tracker is an intricate assessment tool that evaluates a company's performance in responsible business practices. It enables participating businesses to measure their progress against a Responsible Business Map, which is derived from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and tailored to meet the most relevant areas for businesses.

This tool not only aids in recognising strengths and opportunities for improvement but also facilitates benchmarking against peers.

In a momentous leap, Bishop Fleming has increased its overall score from 20% in 2022 to an impressive 48% in 2023. This represents a remarkable 140% surge, placing the firm above the average score of other respondents who have undergone Tracker benchmarking in the past year.

The report highlights that this transformational change was driven by Bishop Fleming's deep sense of purpose and good levels of stakeholder engagement. The firm excelled in aligning its purpose and values through training and inclusion within its personnel appraisals.

Moreover, it has mapped the impact of its services to identify opportunities and risks across the entire value chain.
