Clients join professional services firm in spectacular event to mark its centenary

Clients of professional services firm, Bishop Fleming wined and dined in a unique and memorable setting this month, as they joined the firm to celebrate its centenary year.

The celebrations were held for long-standing clients from both the South West and Midlands, in two events held at the breathtaking Exeter and Worcester Cathedrals.

300 people enjoyed a three-course dinner in the unique and memorable cathedral settings to mark the fantastic milestone that provides the firm with a wonderful opportunity to reflect and celebrate.

Entertainment was provided by Bishop Fleming Trainee, Alice Hudson at the Exeter event who played with her string quartet band, Verde Quartet, throughout the evening.

Partner in charge of the firms Exeter office, James Finnegan said: “The cathedral dinner was a great way for us to bring our client relationships to the heart of our centenary celebrations and thank our long-standing clients for their support to us over the last 100-years.”

The event was one of many which has taken place throughout the year, as the firm launched a year-long campaign of activities built around some major projects, events, activities and partnerships.

Partner in charge of the Worcester office, Chris Walklett said: “Our centenary year is a celebration of what we have achieved as a firm, and where we are heading. The evening was a memorable occasion as we celebrated with our clients, it plays a key part in our centenary and we look forward to being here for another 100-years.”

The firm has also raised over £100,000 for 60-different charities through several fundraising events throughout the year.

Its centenary year is not just about reflecting on the past, but more positioning its business for the future and building a legacy which can leverage for years to come.

Staff will celebrate its centenary in December with an all firm event in Bristol.
