A very enjoyable session that encouraged a collaborative approach amongst my Senior management Team and Board of Trustees, in assessing and evaluating our current processes and systems and how we measure up against the Charity Commissions Governance Code. The Session certainly stimulated a great deal of discussion and debate   which has resulted in us putting together a practical plan to not just meet all the principles of the code but also strive to implement best practice in governance. The day enabled a real joint approach to the plan and both the management team and board of trustees taking ownership for its implementation and attainment. It was clear that both Pam and Sally have considerable experience in this field and were able to confidently deal with any queries and questions which gave reassurance to the board.
