Bishop Fleming has advised ETM Group on its £7m refinancing with NatWest.
Founded in 1994, ETM Contractors, alongside its sister company ETM Recycling, provide Bristol and surrounding South West companies and local authorities with comprehensive and expert civil engineering and recycling services. These include the largest waste management fleet in the region and a state-of-the-art waste transfer centre in Bristol that provides zero waste to landfill.
The refinancing will allow ETM Group to continue investing in new technologies and processes to help ensure as little of Bristol's waste ends up in landfill as possible.
Amy McCormack, commercial director at ETM Recycling, said:
"This refinancing marks a key step in our development. The Bishop Fleming team were able to structure and deliver a funding package that will allow us to deliver on our ambitious plans. The team expertly guided us every step of the way and were a delight to work with.”
The Bishop Fleming team comprised corporate financiers Martyn Fraser, David Lock and Declan Fardon. David Lock, partner and head of funding advisory at Bishop Fleming, commented:
“ETM has built a growing and successful business on the back of a high-quality management team with a strong strategic focus. This was immediately recognised by the funders we approached and helped us to source a flexible funding package that will see the business through several years’ growth. We are doubly delighted given that ETM fulfils a strong local environmental role, adding value and sustainability to the Bristol and South West community.”
