Ready to build your career in accountancy after completing your degree? We don’t take a standard approach to early careers.
Over three years, you’ll study towards the ACA qualification (and, if you join us in Tax, continue your studies for a further year to gain the CTA). You’ll be involved in real projects and will learn from experienced colleagues, building the valuable skills and knowledge you need to become a future business advisor.
Accountancy is all about business, not just numbers, so you don’t need an accounting or mathematics degree. What matters is your interest in business, your ability to work with people and your enthusiasm for learning.
Alongside studying towards the ACA qualification (and CTA for Tax roles), you'll gain valuable hands-on experience working with clients, businesses and colleagues across a range of projects. This combination of professional study and practical experience will help you build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for a successful career in Accountancy, Audit or Tax.
Along the way, you’ll develop:
We do things differently here, and from day one you’ll experience our people-first culture, with opportunities during your induction week to connect with Partners and senior leaders through socials, networking events and unique experiences that give you visibility across the firm from the outset.
You’ll meet colleagues from across the firm, learn what to expect from our graduate programme and begin building your professional network. You’ll also be assigned a buddy who can help you settle into the office, answer practical questions and share advice based on their own experience.
Your development will continue through:
We won’t expect you to know everything when you arrive.
Your responsibilities will grow as you develop your knowledge and skills. You might start out by supporting experienced colleagues with research and analysis before taking ownership of more complex tasks.
You’ll meet different people and work across varied projects and sectors.
Once you’ve qualified, we’ll continue supporting you as you decide where you want your career to go next.
Combining work and professional study can be challenging. Your wellbeing is a top priority, so you’ll find plenty of support should you need it.
From your buddy and manager, to our learning and development team, to dedicated mental health first aiders in each office – there’s always someone to talk to. You’ll also join as part of a wider group of trainees, so you’ll have a great natural support network too.
Each office has its own charity and social committees, giving you opportunities to meet people beyond your immediate team and plenty of events to get involved in.

Although we have set entry criteria, we’re looking for more than academic results.
