With only a matter of months to go until the Brexit transition period ending on 31 December 2020, businesses across the UK are preparing for the changes that will come into force from 1 January 2021. 

As part of the Cornwall Festival of Business, join us for our webinar 'Preparing for Brexit' chaired by Kim Conchie, Chief Executive of Cornwall Chamber. Kim will be joined by industry experts from across a variety of business functions who will present and discuss the organisational challenges and opportunities associated with the upcoming exit of the European Union.

Our speakers will share best practice in regard to current preparation for the exit and share potential challenges and opportunities in relation to specific business functions across organisational structures and sectors. This event will provide practical business advice regarding regulatory change.

Catherine Mead OBE DL is CEO / owner of Lynher Dairies Ltd. Makers of Cornish Yarg cheese the business customers include the national retailers, airlines and Australian and US retailers. The company was awarded Regional Manufacturing Company of the year in 2015 and Catherine was awarded the Cornwall Women in Business Award. Lynher Dairies won Supreme Champion at the World Cheese Awards in 2017. Catherine is a Trustee of the Duke of Cornwall’s Benevolent Fund, Chair of the Specialist Cheese Makers Association and a member of the Cornwall Agri-Tech Board.
