Clients report an enhanced audit experience in latest independent feedback

In partnership with insight6, who have independently reviewed our annual Academy Client Surveys for the past five years, we continuously evolve our approach to deliver an audit experience that clients genuinely value.

The findings highlight stronger planning, communication and partnership across the Academies Audit Service, reflecting changes made in response to feedback from previous years.

Key findings

The positive experience reported by clients is reflected across the survey results:

  • Net Promoter Score of +79, with 99% of respondents saying they would recommend Bishop Fleming’s Academies Audit Service.
  • 98% of clients were very satisfied or satisfied with the audits being delivered to the agreed timetable.
  • 98% of clients were happy or content that we shared our knowledge of the sector
  • 95% were very satisfied or satisfied with the flexibility in meeting their needs.
  • 98% were happy or content with the team’s understanding of their Academy Trust.

A smoother, supportive audit experience

Feedback from Academy Trusts consistently described audits as smoother, better planned and more efficient, with clearer communication and a more collaborative approach between clients and audit teams.

Clients also highlighted the importance of working with teams who understand both the Academy sector and the individual context of their Trust, helping to reduce pressure and uncertainty during the audit process.
