Bishop Fleming supports on sale of Goonhilly to Intuitive Machines

Intuitive Machines, Inc. (“Intuitive Machines”), the NASDAQ listed space technology and infrastructure leader, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Goonhilly Earth Station Ltd (“Goonhilly”) and its US counterpart Goonhilly Inc (“COMSAT”). The deal represents a strategic expansion of Intuitive Machines’ integrated space-to-Earth network, significantly enhancing its deep space communications, data relay and Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) capabilities.

Headquartered in Cornwall, Goonhilly is a leading provider of lunar and deep space communications, having supported more than 20 missions for organisations including NASA and the European Space Agency. The acquisition will add 44 antennas across the UK and US to Intuitive Machines’ global infrastructure, increasing network availability and capacity to support lunar and cislunar operations.

Upon completion, expected in Q3 2026 subject to regulatory approvals, Goonhilly will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, retaining its UK presence and continue to work closely with COMSAT while benefiting from enhanced scale and global reach.  The transaction reflects growing demand for integrated, end‑to‑end communications solutions to support the accelerating pace of commercial and government-led space exploration.
