Securing working capital for a manufacturing company

A manufacturing client recently secured a £100,000 loan with the help of Bishop Fleming's Funding Advisory team.  

Our client approached us to discuss potential financing options for the business.

They are a longstanding business that as of January 2022 decided to move away from their existing business model of an agent and distributor and into the production, development and direct selling of their own product.

It was during an end of year meeting with the client that they mentioned that they may need to increase their working capital to get them through the next cycle.

The working capital would be used for a number of business needs, including:

1. Potential revenue based facility where they are given access to cash to use on specific items – in this case stocks.
2. Loans of up to £100,000 using personal guarantees
3. Potential hire purchase/ leasing of specific machinery

The client took option 2 and proceeded with Funding Circle on a loan over 5 years.

The loan was received following the signing of all paperwork from the client, and everything was completed within 8 weeks of the initial enquiry.
