Technology businesses can benefit from three new competitions launched by Tech Nation, a public and privately funded organisation originally set up in 2011 by the government to make the UK the best place to imagine, start and grow a digital business. 

Rising Stars 2.0 is a competition for innovative, early-stage technology start-ups with a prize package built to significantly raise the profile and awareness of the winning companies on both a national and international level. Entrants are supported throughout the application process and given training and support at each stage of the competition. Winners will be given the opportunity to connect with top investors, influencers and corporate bodies.

Upscale 5.0 helps the UK’s most promising technology companies to accelerate their growth and unlock the key to scaling successfully. This established programme is designed to reflect companies’ scaling journey, exploring fundamental growth challenges with peers through sessions delivered by expert scale coaches. During a 6-month period, 30 companies will receive over 60 hours of support, delivered by more than 20 scale coaches. 

Future Fifty 8.0 is a programme aimed at late-stage growth, bringing together the country’s most successful tech companies to build a powerful network and problem-solve with peers. Companies selected to join the programme will receive masterclass workshops led by global experts, access to peer-to-peer networks, as well as to key governmental roundtables and a dedicated Tech Nation team.
