Partner promotion at Bishop Fleming

Bishop Fleming has promoted David Lock to Partner to strengthen the firm's funding advisory services. He is taking the appointment from 1 November 2023.

This comes on top of two other recent promotions to Partner, taking the total number up to 43, as well as appointing two new directors as the firm continues to grow.
Prior to becoming a Partner. David was a Corporate Finance Director based in the firm’s Bristol office. He has extensive experience in Corporate Finance with a lead advisory, banking, debt and equity background, having worked across the entire South of England.
Before joining Bishop Fleming in July 2021, David worked in a range of organisations including the Big 4 and banking, as well as a number of years providing advice to owner-managed businesses.
David commented:

The firm, which has eight offices across the West Midlands and the South West is currently enjoying considerable growth having posted double-digit growth for the second consecutive year in 22/23.
Bishop Fleming delivered fee growth of 15.5% in 2022/23 to £38.4m and has seen headcount grow to over 500 people for the first time.
The top 30 firm is also a certified Great Place to Work® and was ranked fifth in the inaugural UK Accountancy Age Mid-Tier Power Index.
