We accelerate growth with two new Directors

We're pleased to welcome two new Directors to our Birmingham and Bristol offices.

16 February 2026

Bishop Fleming strengthens specialist leadership with two Director appointments.

We’re delighted to welcome Razia Gent in Birmingham and Peter Budden in Bristol as we strengthen our specialist leadership across Internal Audit & Risk Advisory and Private Client Tax, driving our continued growth and reinforcing our commitment to delivering senior, high‑value advisory and assurance services across the UK.

Stronger services delivered for our clients

These appointments highlight the firm’s ability to attract top-tier talent from major competitors to strengthen our specialist service lines. They also reflect a broader market trend where clients are increasingly seeking agile, senior-led consultancy from mid-tier firms with deep regional insight. Our model combines the technical expertise of a national practice with a hands-on understanding of local economies and client priorities.

Andrew Sandiford, CEO & Managing Partner at Bishop Fleming, commented:

“Attracting talent of Razia and Peter’s calibre is a testament to our ambition. Their experience and expertise strengthen our capacity to provide high-level, senior advisory services to our clients – from large corporations, public sector organisations, charities and schools to entrepreneurs and private individuals. As the market sees a shift in how large firms manage client relationships, we are perfectly positioned as the go-to firm for complex advisory work delivered with a trusted and personal senior touch.”

Razia Gent added:

“I am thrilled to have this unique opportunity to join an organisation that is on such a clear growth journey. I’m looking forward to building a team that acts as a trusted advisor, particularly as clients seek more pragmatic, value-added consultancy as they navigate increasingly complex risk landscapes.”

Peter Budden added:

“Bishop Fleming’s focus on growth and commitment to delivering the very best advisory services for clients was a major factor in my decision to join the business. There is a significant opportunity to support clients from the top end of the spectrum at a time when tax advisory is at the top of the priority list for businesses and individuals alike. I am excited to help our clients navigate the complex tax environment with clarity and confidence.”
